PCL Tickets

Get your PCL tickets at TicketSmarter to see the future stars of Major League Baseball live! The PCL is part of the MiLB minor league baseball system at the AAA level, alongside the International League. The Pacific Coast League (PCL)began playing in 1903 with a six-team league. The league’s original six teams were all based on the west coast, but the league now features 16 teams that stretch across 11 states and as far east as Nashville, Tennessee. Each year, the champion of the PCL regular season will go on to compete in the Triple-A National Championship Game against the champion of the International League to determine an overall Triple-A baseball champion.

The most successful team in the history of the Pacific Coast League is the now-defunct San Francisco Seals who won 14 league titles between 1909 and 1957. In modern times, the most successful active teams have been the Sacramento River Cats, Tacoma Rainiers and Omaha Storm Chasers, who all have won several PCL championships. All of the teams in the league are affiliated with a Major League Baseball team that has the ability to call players up to the majors or send players down to Triple-A. Secure your PCL tickets today at TicketSmarter and experience the excitement of AAA baseball!

PCL Ticket Prices

PCL baseball tickets are less expensive than MLB tickets due to being in the minor league system with lower demand for tickets. PCL ticket prices will fluctuate throughout the season due to factors like each team’s win-loss record, the number of games left in the season and seating location at the baseball stadium.

How much are PCL tickets?

PCL tickets will usually start at prices around $10 to $20. The average price of a ticket to a PCL game is in the $30 to $40 range. Seats behind the catcher are the most highly sought after and will fetch higher prices on the secondary market. Fans looking for cheap PCL baseball tickets should look at seats near the outfield as those will be less expensive.

PCL Dates & Schedule

The PCL season begins in April and the regular season ends in September. The PCL schedule includes 140 games for every team in the league. The 16 teams in the league are evenly split into the American Conference or Pacific Conference and each conference is split into a Northern and Southern Division. Every team will play 48 games against teams in their division and 64 games against teams in the other division. The remaining 28 games on the schedule will be played against teams in the other conference.

The postseason consists of a best-of-five series between divisional winners to determine the conference champions. The conference champions will then compete against each other in another best-of-five series for the league championship. The Triple-A National Championship Game will take place in mid-September at a neutral site and will feature the PCL champion taking on the International League champion.

When do PCL tickets go on sale?

PCL tickets will become available a few months before the start of the regular season. The league will finalize schedules for every team in the league and then the baseball tickets for the season will go on sale.

PCL Seating Chart

PCL seating charts generally feature one or two levels of seating with suites, skyboxes and outfield seats also available in some stadiums. PCL stadiums can generally seat between 6,500 and 14,500 fans on game days. The smallest stadium is the Tacoma Rainiers’ Cheney Stadium, while the largest belongs to the Salt Lake Bees at Smith’s Ballpark. Many of the stadiums in the PCL feature modern amenities that fans are used to seeing at major league ballparks, such as high definition video boards and a variety of food options at the concession stands. TicketSmarter’s virtual ticket office has accurate seating maps of every ballpark in the PCL!
