Frontier League Tickets

Enjoy a summer full of baseball with Frontier League tickets from TicketSmarter! The Frontier League is a baseball league made up of 14 independent teams. The league was founded in 1993 and was originally unaffiliated with Major League Baseball or Minor League Baseball. In 2020, the Frontier League along with the American Association and Atlantic League became an MLB Partner League in an effort to grow the reach of baseball across the United States and Canada. The Frontier League headquarters is located in Illinois with teams based out of the midwestern and northeastern United States along with eastern Canada.

Each team in the league is responsible for recruiting players to their rosters, which is usually made up of undrafted free agents and major league prospects that did not end up making a major or minor league roster. The teams are split into two divisions, the Can-Am Division and the Midwestern Division. The Florence Y’alls, Rockford RiverHawks, Schaumburg Boomers and River City Rascals have been the most successful teams in the league’s history, each winning multiple titles. Get your Frontier League tickets at TicketSmarter to see players playing purely for the love of the game!

Frontier League Ticket Prices

Frontier League ticket prices are very affordable when compared to MLB and Triple-A baseball games. There will be slight fluctuations in pricing based on factors such as the teams competing, seating capacity in the ballpark and each team’s place in the standings.

How much are Frontier League tickets?

Frontier League tickets will generally start at prices around $20 to $30 depending on the team hosting the game. Some teams will have unassigned general admission seating throughout the ballpark while others will have reserved seating sections. Certain teams may also have box seats and VIP seating options available for prices above $40.

Frontier League Dates & Schedule

The Frontier League schedule begins to play in May. The regular season lasts through the month of August with each team playing 96 regular-season games. The postseason is played throughout the month of September with the top three teams in each division qualifying. The two lower seeds in each division will play each other in a Wild Card Game to see who will face the winner of the Division for the Divisional Playoff. The Wild Card Game winner and regular-season Division champion will then face off in a best-of-three series to determine who will move on to the championship round. The Championship Playoffs will see the two Division champions facing each other in a best-of-five series to determine an overall champion of the Frontier League.

When do Frontier League tickets go on sale?

Frontier League tickets will go on sale a few weeks in advance of the start of the regular season. Frontier League postseason tickets will become available after the end of the regular season when the teams and playoff schedule is known. Fans can buy Frontier League baseball tickets through TicketSmarter’s virtual ticket office as soon as they become available.
