Born in 1986 in Kenner, Brisco originally pursued a professional career in basketball. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina however, he moved in with a friend who encouraged him to make music. He would later meet rappers Young Money and Curren$y at his friend’s recording studio, the latter of whom would invite Brisco to begin collaborating.
In 2007 Brisco made his professional debut contributing to Curren$y’s songs “Lysol” and “Money Gone To My Head.” He would contribute to half a dozen of Curren$y’s mixtapes in the coming years, and by 2010 had joined Curren$y in the supergroup Jet Life. Brisco appeared on Jet Life’s albums Jet World Order and Jet World Order 2 before setting off on his solo career in 2012. Later that year he would release his debut solo mixtape Good Sense, and in 2015 released his first full-length album The Kenner Loop. Shortly afterward he founded the record label Good Sense Records.
