He debuted his first solo demo in 2018 titled Motives. After his hard work releasing additional singles independently, Yoshi signed with Interscope Records and released the maxi-single, "Brown Paper Bag." Since playing at local bars during the beginning of his career, the singer has combined his interest in electronic dance music, hip-hop and indie rock to create his mystic music. He has opened for Dua Lipa for her US tour and collaborated with Rico Nasty.
