With a mix of indie, pop and electronic Yeule is an innovative artist who keeps a growing fan base on their toes with each hyper-creative release. Hailing from London through Singapore the artist known as Yeule was born Natasha Yelin Chang. Identifying as Nat Ćmiel, Chang is a non-binary artist of Singaporean descent who picked up her stage name from a Final Fantasy character with a similarly pronounced name. Ćmiel started the Yeule project in 2012 which mixes tones of synth-pop, glitch pop and ambient pop for a transformative sound.
With some of the most hypnotic grooves around Yeule tickets are pretty undeniable. After beginning playing piano at six years old, the artist who identifies as they/them pronouns learned guitar and drums. Starting with singing covers of songs from games like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy they also sang in a jazz band named Riot Diet before starting a solo career. In 2014 Yeule released a self-titled debut EP which they followed up with the EP Pathos in 2016. After signing with Bayonet Records in July of 2019 Ćmiel released their debut studio album Serotonin II the same year.
