They are a six-person cover band that quickly made waves with what critics called “a refreshing and invigorating on-stage energy” enhanced by their cult following of fans. The six-piece band from New Jersey is composed of Chad Miller and Griffin Schriever on guitar, Matt Grayson on bass, Carmen Matarazzo on drums, and Sabrina Matarazzo and Gaten Matarazzo on vocals. Gaten Matarazzo was previously one of the stars of the hit show Stranger Things. The band came together when Chad, Griff, Matt and Carmen added Sabrina and Gaten as vocalists and changed their name to Work In Progress. WIP has played iconic venues including the Troubadour in LA, The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, N.J., and Gas Monkey in Dallas. Noted by critics for their sound’s “excited energy,” the band has a family element, as members Gaten, Sabrina and Carmen are siblings. Gaten is the frontman of the band, which has sold out shows The Stone Pony multiple times.
