Depending on the location, each Wizard Fest party is different and will have a varied outcome. This event has been held at venues all over the United States such as House of Independents in Asbury, N.J. to Pat O'Brien's in San Antonio. The venue is completely transformed to reflect the wonderful magic of the wizarding world.
Wizard Fest sports many activities and vendors that range from wearing your official wizard house colors for cosplay contests to trivia, having a live DJ for the dance party and even hosting a Quidditch game. The main event is the tri-Wizard tournament, where every night, participants complete a set of tasks, and the winners receive prizes such as free themed drinks vouchers, Harry Potter merch, or house apparel. One of the best [parts is the event's immersion factor as 'headmasters' walk around the festival, giving and taking away points from Hogwarts houses. At the end of the night, one house is declared a winner, and at the end of the year, an overall winner is announced, and every member of their winning house will get a prize.
