Wheelwright continues to play in the similar western indie rock genre as the former band. Their first single released in March 2021, titled "Just Like You," is a bit of a departure from their previous sound. The song has a dance vibe and is funky, with more of an R&B, grunge, and hip-hop feel. The Wheelwright logo is more aggressive than Jared and The Mill's as it has a switchblade through the second W.
