The guitarist and vocalist for Wayfarer is Shane McCarthy while James Hansen is the bassist and fellow vocalist. Keeping the band on the beat is the drummer and percussionist Isaac Faulk. Tanner Rezabek played with Wayfarer from 2012 to 2016 as a guitarist and vocalist, and he was one of the founding members. Joe Strong-Truscelli replaced Rezabek in 2016 as the guitarist.

Rezabek was on the first two albums for Wayfarer, which include Children of the Iron Age from 2014 and Old Souls from 2016. With Strong-Truscelli, Wayfarer created its next two albums called World’s Blood, which was released in 2018, and A Romance with Violence, which was released in 2020. Wayfarer has had great success touring, and they have performed throughout the world in Europe, Mexico, Canada and the United States.
