In 2010, Touré was invited, along with Shakira and Alicia Keys, to perform the Opening Celebration at the FIFA World Cup.
2011 saw the release of Touré’s third studio album, The Secret, followed by Mon Pays in 2013. The latter reached #1 on the CMJ’s New World chart. Samba, in 2017, was recorded in front of a live studio audience in Woodstock, NY. Touré’s style is rooted in Malian folk with heavy reggae, soul, and blues influences.
