Venice was a runaway success in The Netherlands in particular, where they won the Edison Award for Best International Artist in 2003. Their songs still receive widespread airplay in the country today, and they often tour to sold-out shows. The band’s 2 Meter Sessies album was certified gold in The Netherlands in the early 2000s.
