The band members are vocalist Shane Henderson, guitarist Brendan Walter, bassist George Ciukurescu and drummer Daniel Pavlovich. The group members met while playing in separate bands throughout the tri-state area before creating Valencia and signing with Midtown drummer Rob Hitt’s label. The band released their debut album This Could Be a Possibility in 2005 after playing on the Vans Warped Tour earlier that year.
The band’s second album, We All Need a Reason to Believe, was released in 2008 and secured them a performance spot alongside New Found Glory and Say Anything at the Soundwave Festival in Australia.
