Since then, the ballet has given hundreds of performances and given instructions to thousands of families in the Tucson area. 

The founder of the TRB is Linda Walker, who began her journey of dance at the age of six in California. She took instruction from many small ballet schools in California as well as studied at the prestigious Robert Joffrey in New York and was also awarded a scholarship to learn at the San Francisco Ballet.  

Enjoy a great show with Tucson Regional Ballet tickets. The Artistic Director of the Ballet is Brittany deGrofft, who was born in Tucson and studied under Linda Walker when she was six years old. She won scholarships to many prestigious schools, such as the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the School of American Ballet, the Ballet American Theatre and the San Francisco Ballet. 

DeGrofft became part of the Corps de Ballet of the ABT Studio Company in September of 2011.  While there she was named one of the Top Ten Dancers to Watch by Dance Spirit Magazine as well as being presented the Margaret King Dancer Award by Marcelo Gomes. She was a featured Soloist and Principal Dancer with the Company before returning to Tucson.
