The troupe is led by founder Lola Torch, who previously was the featured performer as well as producer of the Black Cherry Burlesque, as a co-founder and has been a mainstay of the Tucson burlesque world since 2006. Torch established the Tucson Libertine League, as well as a series of training workshops called REVEAL to teach burlesque and mentor burlesque entertainers. She has also formed a cabaret-style band called the Torchbearers.
