In July of 2020, Triller announced that it had made a deal with former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and his fledgling promotion “Mike Tyson’s Legends Only League” to become the media partner for its events.
The inaugural event for the partnership was the exhibition match between Mike Tyson and former multiple weight class champion Roy Jones Jr., distributed as a pay-per-view and not distributed through the Triller app. The event also featured musical performances from Wiz Kalifa and featured Snoop Dogg as a commentator. The inaugural event was the most popular combat sports PPV of 2020.
Expect to be entertained with Triller Fight Club tickets. The promotion then formed a partnership with Snoop Dogg to form “Triller Fight Club”, a boxing league produced and hosted by Snoop Dogg himself. The format of the show would be a series of annual PPV cards. The debut event was Jake Paul facing Ben Askren with performances by The Black Keys, Justin Bieber, Mt. Westmore and others with live seating limited to only 100 attendees winning spots through the app.
Other main events that are notable include former heavyweight boxing champion facing UFC former light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort, former UFC champions Tito Ortiz and Anderson Silva and others. Hall of Fame boxing announcer signed with Triller to do commentary in June of 2021.
