The two musicians formed the group in 2015 while they were both living in Los Angeles, CA. That same year they released their debut EP, Nü Religion which quickly gained the duo commercial success with the lead single 'Working For It', which featured collaborations with DJs Zhu and Skrillex. Other singles include 'Say When' (2016), 'U-Rote' (2017) and 'Somebody' (2018). In 2017, THEY released their debut studio album Nü Religion: Hyena which featured the single 'Deep End'. In 2018, THEY dropped Fireside EP which featured collaborations with rappers Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla Sign.
