The Orchestra Now was the brainchild of conductor, educator and music historian Leon Botstein. He started TON in 2015 at Bard College, where they perform several concerts every year. They also play at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The intensity and excellence of their performances are exhilarating, and the personal interaction between the musicians and audience is refreshing.
