The Orchestra Now Concert Tickets
There is an entirely new classical experience to be had with The Orchestra Now tickets. Both entertaining and educational, The Orchestra Now(TON) brings together the finest young musicians from all over the globe to share their insights and make orchestral music more relevant for modern-day audiences. Chosen from the finest schools in the world, such as Yale School of Music, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Royal Academy of Music and the Eastman School of Music, the musicians do more than play instruments. They do onstage introductions and demonstrations and make concert notes from their perspective and have personal discussions with audience members during intermissions.
The Orchestra Now was the brainchild of conductor, educator and music historian Leon Botstein. He started TON in 2015 at Bard College, where they perform several concerts every year. They also play at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The intensity and excellence of their performances are exhilarating, and the personal interaction between the musicians and audience is refreshing. Truly an orchestra like none other, The Orchestra Now tickets are the key to appreciating the artistry and depth of classical music in a whole new way.
Many famous guest conductors and soloists have performed with TON, including Leonard Slatkin, Gil Shaham, Peter Serkin and Tan Dun. The collaboration of so many extraordinarily talented people is a sight to behold.
