The band members are Aimee Allen (Aimee Interrupter) which is the lead singer, Jesse Bivona on the drums, Justin Bivona on bass and Kevin Bivona on the guitar. The three brothers met Aimee while touring to support The Dirty Heads and Sugar Ray in 2009. Aimee was a solo artist and began writing songs with Kevin Bivona who brought in his twin brothers Jesse and Justin. The four became The Interrupters. The band got an early start by touring with well known ska-punk bands like Rancid and Left Alone and performing in the iconic American music festival, Riot Fest. These performances were done prior to the band releasing their first record. The Interrupters tickets provide some of the best live ska-punk music of this generation. In 2014 the band released their self-titled record, The Interrupters. Since the release, The Interrupters have toured the United States and Canada with Street Dogs, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and others. The band also toured Europe with Bad Religion, played Soundwave Festival in Australia and Groezrock Festival in Belgium. In 2018 the band announced the album Fight The Good Fight which reached number 2 on the Billboard Independent Albums. You can see The Interrupters are part of the Hella Mega Tour featuring Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer.
