In 2005 they released their debut album Histrionics, the success of which earned them spots opening for well-known pop punk bands such as Emery, Silverstein and Alexisonfire.
In the late 2000s, The Higher broke through to mainstream success with their popular singles “Insurance?” and “On Fire,” the latter of which became a top ten Billboard in Japan. In 2007, their sophomore album On Fire reached the top ten on Billboard’s US Heatseekers chart. The band has since performed at prominent events such as the Fuji Rock Festival and Warped Tour.
