The group’s first album was Remember Two Things under the Bama Rags label, which had several live tracks. Their first studio album, Under the Table and Dreaming, featuring the smash hit “Satellite,” brought immediate fame and stardom to the group. DMB is the first rock band ever to release seven consecutive albums that all debuted at number one.

There were five founding members in the ensemble. Gary Wilkinson played lead vocalist and guitarist. He was accompanied by Sean Bowen on violin, Chris Whiteley on horns and vocals and Christian Shenk on Bass Guitar. David Suriani rounded out the group, playing drums.
