The Cactus Blossoms are a duo featuring sibling harmonies, based in Minneapolis, Minn., and consist of Page Burkum and Jack Torrey, a stage name adopted by the latter when he was 19. The group’s debut release was their self-titled The Cactus Blossoms in 2011.

The brothers began performing in 2010, delivering a combination of folk classic and old-school country. After the brothers released their debut album, self-titled The Cactus Blossoms in 2011, they landed a residency at St. Paul’s Turf Club. The duo’s audience began to grow in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area with the presence of a standing gig. A live album was created from recordings at their show at that venue and released in 2013 as Live at the Turf Club.

With the success of their live album, the brothers began to increase their touring by headlining clubs and also playing in bigger halls with other acts, such as Kacey Musgraves. The brothers appeared on the show on public radio A Prairie Home Companion and made a TV appearance on the final season of Twin Peaks, playing at The Roadhouse, a fictional bar featured in the show.

The brothers signed with Red House Records, a music label based in St. Paul, in 2015. You’re Dreaming was released in 2016. The duo’s album, Easy Way was released in March of 2019.
