Despite not having a record label at the time, they recorded their third studio album, Spring Reverb (2002), with Bill Cutler, who had worked with Grateful Dead. The album ended up being their biggest success, landing them a release party at the renowned Historic State Theatre. Shortly thereafter, the band performed at their first-ever Bonnaroo Music Festival that same year.
