Additionally, she won the Net Honours’ Most Played Alternative Song award for the single. In addition, she was nominated for several more awards at the All Africa Music Awards and the African Entertainment Awards USA that same year.
Tems tickets gained popularity worldwide in 2020 after she released Made in Lagos. The album was an instant success, peaking in the top 20 charts in multiple countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Openiyi continued her global rise to stardom in 2021 with the debut of If Orange Was a Place, which featured the popular track “Found.” Additionally, Tems was featured in Drake’s hit single, “Fountains,” that same year.
