Founding director Kunkel retired in 2017 and passed the baton to Maestro Daniel W. Boothe. Inspired by a love for great music and the desire to share it with others, more than 200 volunteer musicians join together to enrich the lives of their audiences. With masterworks performances, pops concerts, Handel’s Messiah sing-along and a children’s concert, the Symphonicity are an integral part of Virginia Beach. They also offer Masterclass Series for people looking to improve their musical skills.
