Her major label debut, Last of the Good Straight Girls, was released in 1995 and was one of her popular folk albums before making a shift to 2004’s jazzy I Can’t Be New. She continued to experiment with her sound on 2007’s The Gospel Truth, leaning into her interests in gospel and themes tackling topics across religion. In 2022, the singer-songwriter released the EP, The Birds of Florida, and has remained on the road bringing her impressive catalog to the stage.
