Together, the two recruited bassist John Fahnestock, drummer Jamie Miller and guitarist Sonny Mayo, to make music in the much-desired punk and metal styles that would take the group to the next level. Led by the overflowing energy and powerful stage presence of frontman Lynn Strait, their riveting blend of funk, nu metal and hardcore was a breath of fresh air in the era’s increasingly unimaginative alt rock scene. Committed to making a name for themselves, Snot tickets will make audiences feel nostalgic once more for the iconic punk rock music of the late ‘90s.

In just a span of three short years since their start, the band would land a major label deal, release a debut album and participate in one of the biggest tours of the 1990s. However, their meteoric rise would be cut short when Lynn tragically died in a car accident in December 1998. Shaken by this sudden loss, the group decided to honor Lynn the best way they knew how, resulting in the record Straight Up. Featuring appearances from numerous of Lynn’s friends, they would each offer their own vocals to the record as a tribute to their lost companion. The record would act as a preserving demonstration of the incredible grief and sympathy from the Los Angeles new metal and alternative music community, hoping to honor the singer’s tremendous magnetism and spirit. Despite all their adversity, Snot is still going strong today, offering audiences a concert experience that wishes to continue the legacy and greatness of Lynn Strait.
