He studied music under Professor Boris Romanov and graduated from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje in 2002.
Trpceski made his international debut recital at London’s Wigmore Hall in 2001. He was selected to participate in the two-year BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists Scheme which expanded his international greatly in 2001. Starting in 2005, he began to perform worldwide, debuting with numerous orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, the San Francisco Symphony, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Hong Kong Philharmonic.

In 2005, he was awarded the Order of Merit for (North) Macedonia and in 2011 was the first artist to be awarded the National Artist of (North) Macedonia.
