The video helped promote the Free Hugs Campaign, which was launched in Sydney, and has since received over 78 million views on the website.
Since forming, they have added Chris Mileski as the drummer. However, Mileski chose to leave the band in 2003 and was replaced with Mark Goodwin. Shimon Moore also left the band in 2014 and was replaced by lead vocalist and guitarist Bryan Scott in 2016.
