The State Ensemble of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), known as the Siberian Virtuosi is an internationally recognized Ensemble composed of 10 violin players and one pianist, was founded in 1994 as the Virtuoso of Yakutia. Since then, the Ensemble has performed over 2000 concerts and achieved recognition and popularity in Russia and throughout the world.
The Siberian Virtuosi has performed in numerous prestigious festivals around the globe and garnered impressive awards. Festivals they have performed at include the International Festival in St. Petersburg and the “Music Week of Tours” in France. Some of the awards the ensemble has received include the Grand Prix in Hungary, the Grand Prix in Cremona, Italy as well as being named the State Ensemble of Violinists of the State of the Republic of Yakutia by the State of Siberia.
