Together they are known as two of the progenitors of the Psybient genre of music which specializes in ambient music featuring instruments from all over the world and a psychedelic trance style.
With many different elements, Shpongle creates some of the most innovative psychedelic music in the world. It is hard to define Shpongle’s music with words as a diverse mix of synthesizers, live instrumentation, flute arrangements, and implementations of musical theory combine to create unique tracks.
