Born in Pittston, Pa., Klush began imitating Elvis Presley when he was a boy. He learned to play guitar as a teenager, then for a number of years performed in the band Night Moves alongside Charlie Newcomb, George Guman, Dan Gardner and Joseph Bruno. In the early 2000s, he began performing as an Elvis impersonator at a string of resorts in the Pocono Mountains.
By 2005, Klush had won Montreal’s Worldwide Elvis Competition, the first in a slew of competition victories that culminated in winning Elvis Presley Enterprises’ Ultimate Tribute Artist Contest. As a result of the win, he became the only Elvis tribute artist to earn an official endorsement from Elvis Presley Enterprises. Klush has since performed widely on television, earning particular acclaim for his rendition of “Suspicious Minds” on The Late Show with David Letterman in 2013.
