In 2014 he won the Artist of the Year Award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and was listed within the top 50 on E.TV’s list of the 100 Most Influential Ghanaians. The singer-songwriter currently holds the record for most 3 Music Awards won by a dancehall artist, as in 2019 he won 11 3 Music Awards.
