Experience a masterful jazz performance with Shai Maestro Trio tickets. Jazz pianist Shai Maestro was born in Israel on February 5, 1987. He started playing classical piano at the age of five and went to high school at Thelma Yellin High School of Performing Arts in Givataim, Israel. He then went to the Berklee College of Music’s Five-Week Summer Program.
Maestro then was asked to join the Avishai Cohen Trio with famed bassist Avishai Cohen, known for working with Chick Corea, and Mark Guiliana. Maestro recorded four albums with the trio as well as toured with them. In July of 2010, Maestro formed his own trio.

The trio’s second album, The Road to Ithaca, was released in 2013. Maestro continues to release albums sporadically, such as 2021’s Human. Among the awards that Maestro has garnered include the National Jazz Ensembles Competition Jazz Signs in 2002 and 2003.
