The singer then set off on her solo career in the early 2010s, releasing her debut solo single “I Like It” through Atlantic Records in 2012. The EP she released the following year sold nearly 20,000 copies in its first week, and contained two Top 40 singles, “Next” and “It Won’t Stop.” Streeter has also written songs for star artists including Usher, Chris Brown and Ariana Grande.
