The band’s career took flight in 2003. Members Church, Lisa Fendelander, Joey Ficken, Scott Leahy and Eliot Lorango have been going strong ever since. Church’s history as a performer began shortly after graduating from film school at New York University. Church earned his wings as a soul-searing songster performing in a group called Irving in the late ‘90s. Much of the material he wrote did not gel with Irving’s style. As a result, Church branched out on his own, forming Sea Wolf, a project which featured a revolving cast of musicians.
Sea Wolf signed with Dangerbird Records in 2007 and released a debut EP, aptly titled Get to the River Before It Runs Too Low, followed by a full-length album, Leaves in the River. The band’s album was a commercial success, landing at number 24 on the Heatseekers chart. Sea Wolf tickets offer the best in live entertainment.
