Rouse Concert Tickets

Prepare to listen to songs full of elegance and significance after you get Rouse tickets. Christopher Chapman Rouse III was a Maryland-based composer who began his music career in the ‘70s. He didn’t always know he wanted to be a composer and first was a salesman at Pitney Bowes. Shortly thereafter, he studied at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 1971. Later, he completed his graduate degree at Cornell University in 1977. While pursuing his studies, he earned a BMI Student Composer Award consecutively in 1972 and 1973.

Nearly a decade later, he won the Kennedy Center Friedheim Award for “Symphony No. 1” in 1988. Other awards he has won include the 1993 Pulitzer Prize for Music for his Trombone Concerto and a Grammy for Best Classical Contemporary Composition for Concert de Gaudi. His achievements hardly went unnoticed, leading him to eventually earn the name of Musical America’s Composer of the Year. Those who love a good classical music concert need to look no further and purchase Rouse tickets while they are still on sale. Over the course of his career, Rouse has had the privilege of serving as Composer-In-Residence with some of the most prestigious organizations, such as the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Music Festival, and Aspen Music Festival.
