Traditionally held over four days every July, Rock Fest draws over 35,000 attendees every day. In 2012, when Iron Maiden headlined the festival, average attendance shot up to over 50,000.
With roughly 20 well-known hard rock and heavy metal acts performing, concerts usually begin in the late afternoon and last past 2:00 AM. Other attractions include beer pavilions, a picture-taking line, a fan pit and catered VIP sections.
