However, Rittz got his big break in 2010 after collaborating with Yelawolf on his EP track, "Box Chevy."

In 2011, Rittz released his popular mixtape, White Jesus. Meanwhile, Rittz continued collaborating with Yelawolf and toured with him on the 2012 Slumerican Tour. His rise in popularity helped him land the label Strange Music that same year.

Rittz debuted his first solo album, The Life and Times of Jonny Valiant, in 2013. The album was well-received by critics and fans, and the recognition he earned from the album drove up the popularity of Rittz tickets. That same year, Rittz performed at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards alongside famous rappers Jon Connor, Emis Killa, Wax and Rapsody.

In the mid-2000s, Rittz released three more studio albums, Next to Nothing (2014), Top of the Line (2016) and Last Call (2017). Following the release of Last Call, Rittz left the Strange Music label and created his own label, Cli-N-Tel Entertainment. Rittz produced three more albums through his new label, Put a Crown on It (2019), Picture Perfect (2020) and Rittzmas (2020).
