The Broncs wrestling team is held in the Alumni Gym at Rider University, which is a private university established in 1865 in Lawrenceville, N.J., as Trenton Business College. The Broncs wear their silver grey and red outfits against their rival schools like Purdue’s Boilermakers or the Northern Illinois Huskies.

The Broncs wrestling team practices their moves on the top floor of the Canastra Health & Sports Center. The wrestling team was a part of the Colonial Athletic Association before the CAA announced that it would no longer sponsor wrestling, to which the Broncs joined the Eastern Wrestling League. However, in 2019, they made a switch yet again where they joined the Mid-American Conference. This decision would result in making the Mid-American Conference the second-largest conference in Division I wrestling. In their first season taking part in the new conference, the Broncs won.

Some of the impressive wrestlers that the Broncs have trained include All Americans Doug Umberhauer and John Carvalehira. Make sure that you do not miss out on when you buy some Rider Wrestling tickets and cheer on your favorite wrestler to ensure they take a win home.
