Ma was incarcerated between 2007 - 2014 but released a compilation of her mixtapes titled Remy on the Rocks in 2015. Later that same year, Ma joined the cast of the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: New York which led to Ma getting her own spinoff series Remy & Papoose: Meet the Mackies, with her husband, rapper Papoose. In 2017, Ma teamed up with Fat Joe again for the album Plata O Plomo, which earned the pair two Grammy Award nominations for the track “All the Way Up”. In 2017, Ma released her solo album 7 Winters, 6 Summers which featured collaborations with rappers Lil Kim, Chris Brown and French Montana.
