Blige (2010’s “Each Tear”), and was a judge on the first two seasons of the reality show The Voice of Germany. A Carlow native, Garvey formed the Dublin-based rock band The Reckless Pedestrians in the early 90s and then relocated to Berlin, where he worked as a roadie before fronting the alternative rock five-piece Raemonn.
Spearheaded by Garvey, the band went on to score five Top 5 albums and several Top 15 singles before calling it quits in 2011. That same year, he made his official solo debut with the platinum-selling Can't Stand the Silence, which climbed up to Number 4 in Germany. He continued his winning streak with Pride (2014), Prisma (2015), and Neon (2018), all of which entered the Top 5 in the German Albums Chart.
