The PFL is the first and only mixed martial arts league to feature a season schedule format with playoffs and a championship for each of its six weight classes - one of which is designated for women. Fights consist of three five-minute rounds.
Sixty fighters compete in the regular season and the top four in each division advance to the single-elimination playoffs based on record and scores. Fighters can earn up to six points per match with three automatically awarded after a win. Additional points are contingent on stoppage and vary by round with a first-round TKO earning the full six points. Winners in the playoffs advance to the PFL World Championship and compete for one of the six $1 million belts.
PFL events are often shown on ESPN and ESPN+ and streamed across the globe in 160 countries. However, the best way to watch the PFL is in person with Professional Fighters League tickets.
A few of the featured fighters in the 2022 season include Kayla Harrison and Ray Cooper III, who won their respective titles at the end of 2021. All PFL events will be held at Atlanta’s OTE Arena.
