Remembering that Picasso’s painting of Guernica ended up at the World Fair within three months, the artist wants to do the same but realizes he has no sense of personal loss. He only watched as an outsider. In that realization comes the inspiration to paint from the survivor's perspective. What follows is a series of monologues from a cross section of society exploring all the feelings and reactions of people that survived and those that came to help. In an impressive display, the actors deliver all the emotion and passion you would expect in real life. The task of creating art that embodies everyone’s experience is an ongoing challenge for the artist.
