Other Things, his self-produced debut EP as Plini, saw the light in 2013 and was followed closely by another EP entitled Sweet Nothings, released that same year. The End of Everything, the third installment in his EP trilogy, dropped in 2015 and paved the way for Handmade Cities, his official studio debut. Released in 2016, the album garnered praise from the likes of Steve Vai and earned Roessler-Holgate the title of Best Prog Guitarist of 2017 according to the website MusicRadar. In the following years, he returned with the EP Sunhead (2018), the single "Birds / Surfers"(2020), and delivered Impulse Voices (2020), his third album.
