The group doesn’t fear treading new waters or experimenting with genres outside of the norm, covering acts outside of metal completely such as Leadbelly with their rendition of “In the Pines.”
The band is fronted by singer, lyricist and composer Melissa Ferlaak. She was previously part of the symphonic metal groups Aesma Daeva and Visions of Atlantis. She has performed in large festivals and music has taken her to Europe, China, the United States and Central America. As a solo artist, she has created 10 full-length albums as well collaborating and guest performing on many more
Enjoy a powerful female-fronted band with Plague of Stars tickets. The lead guitarist for the band is Aaron “Frodo” Caulfield, who is the newest member of the band. Caulfield has performed with bands such as Thinning the Veil, Echoes of the Fallen and Witchden. He is also the lead vocalist of the side project The Omega Sequence.
Drummer Aaron Lanik is a founding member of Plague of Stars. He got his start performing with local and regional acts such as Black Umbrella Cult and Gabriel and the Apocalypse. He has done recording for bands such as White Empress and Signs of Reign.
