After graduating with a Bachelor in Music Performance from ECU in 2000, Lamb ended up in Raleigh, North Carolina and played for a series of bands including Heads on Sticks, Fleshtones, The Countdown Quartet, and Ben Folds Five. In 2008, Lamb was tasked with forming a band for a local Inaugural Ball, at Humble Pie, for then-President Barack Obama and so the band was born. Paul Rogers plays trumpet, Peter Kimosh plays bass, Stephen Coffman plays drums, and Mark Wells plays the keyboard and is the lead vocalist.
Peter Lamb and the Wolves have released three studio albums so far. The first was in 2010 and was self-titled. The second, Humble Pie, was dropped in 2013 with the single “Boogie Woogie Tango”. Caroline Tiger Milk can out in 2016 and features a variety of guest artists like George Knott, Stephen Riley, Django Haskins, and Bullfrog Willard McGhee.
