Guest appearances with California-based contemporary jazz specialists The Rippingtons broadened Taylor's appeal to a wider audience helping sales of his solo recordings. His fourth album, Ladies Choice was released in 2007 and featured R&B divas LaToya London, Regina Belle and Terry Dexter on vocals. It proved to be a winning combination and brought Taylor his first number one album in the Contemporary Jazz Charts. With a career spanning more than 20 years and 13 successful albums to his name, Taylor is now a firmly established player in the jazz and R&B genres.
