Born in 1981, Weiss studied piano at the Preucil School of Music as well as under famed pianist and composer Edith Reed. He continued training at both the Interlochen Arts Camp and the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he was mentored by Paul Schenly. In 2004 he graduated from the Juilliard School, soon making a number of celebrated appearances at prominent events like Pianofest.

Weiss made his orchestral debut in 1999 with the Cleveland Orchestra, and by 2004 had been featured in both Symphony Magazine and Musical America as one of the next great artists in classical music. He went on to perform with a slew of leading world orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Vancouver Symphony and the New York Philharmonic.

An acclaimed recitalist and chamber musician, Weiss has performed at renowned venues like the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
