This Massachusetts-based hockey team was founded in 2015 and plays at the Tier II junior level as members of the North America Hockey League (NAHL). The Generals play at the New England Sports Village in Attleboro, Mass.
The Northeast Generals started as a Tier III junior team in the North American 3 Eastern Hockey League or NA3EHL. The team was accepted into the NAHL ahead of the 2016-17 season becoming the league’s easternmost team. Northeast retained its junior team in the Tier III NA3HL. Although the team did not qualify for the playoffs in its first season, the Northeast Generals found their footing in 2017-18 advancing to the Division Semifinals in the Robertson Cup. They finished the season with a 29-26 record for the franchise’s first winning season.
