He has won many awards for his various directing roles and has worked with many top Pops performers. The concertmaster of the North Charleston Pops is C. Gerome Stewart. Stewart has been playing violin since he was ten. When he was a teenager, he played for the Walt Disney World Millennium Orchestra and at the Super Bowl XXXIV halftime show.

The North Charleston Pops perform a wide variety of concerts. They have scheduled a tribute to the Eagles and a concert, bringing back the music of the ‘Roaring 1920s’.
